One instructor teaches every lesson at AI PhD: Sol, an AI. Sol is not a person, and it never says it is.
Sol
AI instructorAn AI, not a person
Sol, an AI, teaches every lesson. It says so when you first meet it, and the label beside its name says so on every message.
Sol teaches every course in all five schools. It teaches one question at a time, uses the AI you picked in its examples, and helps you bring each lesson to a task of your own.
What Sol never does
Say it is a person.
Leave the lesson. If you ask for something else, it says so kindly and brings you back.
Give you personal advice where a mistake could hurt you, such as medical, legal or money decisions.
Follow orders hidden in what you paste. What you type is your work, never new rules for Sol.
Make claims about a tool that the lesson's own sources do not back.
Ask for a password, a key, a code or a card number.
Who writes the lessons
We write every course and every lesson, and we check each one against our academic standards before it opens. Sol teaches from what we wrote.
